Angela Elaine Murrell
Angela Elaine Murrell was born on July 22, 1976, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Ernest Todd and Suncirae Shelton. On August 11, 2026, Angela transitioned from this earthly life, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, family, friendship, and cherished memories.
Angela was a proud graduate of Mayfield High School, Class of 1995, where she was a member of the basketball team. She later attended Eastern Kentucky University for two years.
To know Angela was to experience her warmth. She possessed a kind and generous heart, a beautiful smile, and a spirit that could light up any room. Angela had a special way of making people feel welcomed and loved. She did not meet strangers-only friends she had not yet gotten to know. Her genuine smile and infectious personality were a reflection of the love she carried within her.
Angela treasured her family, and above all, she loved her boys. Her sons, Keontre and Dariontae, held a very special place in her heart and were among her greatest joys. She took immense pride in her family and found happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a cherished sister, and a loyal friend.
Angela also had a gift for bringing people together. She loved cooking, especially when she could prepare a meal for others and share it with her community. Whether gathered around a table, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying one another's company, Angela knew how to make ordinary moments feel special. She was often the life of the party, bringing laughter, energy, and joy wherever she went.
Her presence was unforgettable. Her smile could brighten a difficult day, her laughter could fill a room, and her kindness could make someone feel seen and valued. Angela gave love freely and expected nothing in return. The memories she created with her family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Douglass and Emma Lou Todd; Will J. Murrell; Maggie White; and other beloved family members.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory and carry forward her legacy of love: her parents, Ernest Todd and Suncirae Shelton; her sons, Keontre Murrell and Dariontae Murrell; her brothers, Altarro Murrell, Michael Murrell, and William Murrell; her grandchildren, Kyler Murrell, Kyron Murrell, Royalty Reaves, Kash Murrell, and Kingston Rodgers; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Though Angela's earthly journey has come to an end, the love she gave, the lives she touched, the meals she shared, the laughter she created, and that unforgettable smile will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her boys, her family, her friends, and everyone who was fortunate enough to call her "Angela."
May her beautiful spirit rest in eternal peace.
