Sergeant George Chris Demos, age 80, of Mayfield, Kentucky, peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Mayfield. A native of Chicago, Illinois, he lived a life marked by service, strength, and steadfast devotion to those he loved.

Born on May 5, 1945, to the late Chris and Catherius (Kassios) Demos, George was a proud son, devoted family man, and honorable patriot. He served his country with distinction as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, embodying courage, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to duty.
