Kendrick Donovan Owens, age 35, of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the University of Louisville Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 20, 1991, in Mayfield, Kentucky, to Teresa Michelle Starks and Patrick Kendall Owens Sr.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary Emma and Bert Wallace Starks; and his paternal grandparents, Racine Owens and Clemon Lassiter.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Teresa Michelle Starks and Patrick Kendall Owens Sr.; his daughter, Kenzlee Owens; his sisters, Brittany Owens, Valitria (Artez) Sims, Saron Gebreaziavher, and Jaqueline Martin (Edson Tocora Pulgarin); his brothers, Patrick Owens Jr. and Jalen Owens; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.

Kendrick, your life was a blessing, your memory we will forever treasure. Your love, smile, and laughter will remain forever in our hearts. You will forever be missed and never forgotten.
