Lottie Jean Dunlap, 59 of Murray, Kentucky was born on December 1, 1965, to the late Robert Lee Hartsfield Sr. and Imogene Hartsfield (Washington). Lottie was known by her family, friends, and the community as "Lottie Jean." Lottie Jean passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Alive Hospice, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lottie Jean was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Imogene Hartsfield, and her brother, Lonnie Martin Sr. and grandparents, George and Evelyn Washington.
Lottie Jean leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Claudia Murray (Sedrick) and Jaleesa Stitt; son, Charles Dunlap; sister, Virginia Payne, brother, Robert Lee Hartsfield Jr. (Maria); seven grandchildren, four nieces, one nephew, and a host of other relatives.
Lottie Jean loved her family, especially her kids and grand children. Lottie Jean was known for her bubbly personality, laughter and infectious smile. Lottie Jean loved to complete puzzles, thrift shop, watch movies, and spend time with her family. Lottie Jean was a lover of gospel music.
The funeral service honoring the life of Lottie Jean Dunlap is set for 1:00pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church, 1601 Main Street, Murray, Kentucky.
The family welcomes visitors from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church.
