A Life of Faith, Family, and Love

Ms. Patsy L. Oliver, a beloved woman of faith, family, and enduring love, was born on December 13, 1934, in Humboldt, Tennessee, to the late Willie W. Brown and Tommie Ewell. On August 9, 2026, she peacefully departed this earthly life in Mayfield, Kentucky, at the age of 91.

Patsy lived a life defined by hard work, devotion, and love for those around her. She was a woman who found joy in the simple and meaningful things of life. For many years, she faithfully worked as a custodian for Youngblood Furniture while also cleaning homes throughout Mayfield. She later shared her love of cooking while working at Youngblood Supermarket.

There was much more to Patsy than the work she did. She was a woman who knew how to make a house feel like home and a meal feel like an expression of love. She genuinely enjoyed cooking, cleaning, working in her yard, and fishing. She also cherished attending church and nurturing her faith. Her life was a beautiful reflection of a woman who understood the value of family, the importance of hard work, and the comfort found in trusting God.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Willie W. Brown and Tommie Ewell; her daughters, Linda Farr, Sabrina Misher and son, Patrick Oliver.

Patsy leaves to cherish and carry forward her precious memory, her children: R.V. Oliver Jr. (Betty); Rodney Oliver; Patti Davis (Cal); Royace Oliver (Sylvia); and Carolyn Misher. She also leaves a beautiful legacy through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Her family will forever remember her not simply for the years she lived, but for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she helped build.
